Procrastination is the putting off or delaying or deferring an action to a later time, and doing this is exactly what makes an easy job seem mighty hard. Not only does it make a job seem harder, but it more then often kills the job off completely. I like to refer to procrastination as opportunity's assassin. I do this to emphasize its undesirable and negative qualities!

Have you been thinking about accomplishing a task but never got around to doing it, let alone starting it? Do you have this great idea in the back of your mind that really excites you but you keep telling yourself "someday" you will get to it? Well you have to remember, someday is not a day of the week, so there is a big chance that that particular someday, may never come around.

It is essential that you realise and appreciate the negative effects procrastination can have on your life, so that you may value the positive outcome of acting immediately. Do not let procrastination get in the way of doing what you want to do. Stop the opportunity assassin dead in its tracks by acting first. As soon as you get that burst of motivation or an idea strikes your head, take action that exact second. Act while you still have that extra source of energy flowing within you.

Well I won't keep you any longer from your goals, so start at it. Always keep in mind that the best way to get something done is to begin. Don't think too much about doing something.
