Success vs Successful
By Mark Machaalani
Mankind is constantly and continuously building personal goals and striving to achieve them. Being goal striven is simply how mankind is built. In order to accomplish total inner success and happiness, these passionate goals set by mankind must be achieved.

Noah Webster defined success as “The satisfactory accomplishment of a goal sought for”. To be “a success” generally involves acquiring prestige goods and materials, high ranking positions within society and is more concerned with being accepted by others. This usually does not bring upon happiness, instead leads to unfulfilling ness, frustration and unhappiness.
Being creative and passionate about achieving your personal goals results in both happiness and success as you are functioning as you are built to function. To be “successful” is to achieve what you deeply feel passionate towards, and understanding that happiness and success walk hand in hand is the vital key to becoming successful.

Remember, Instead of trying to be “a success”, strive to be “successful”.
